Visio – How to Turn AutoConnect On (and Off)

In this Visio tutorial, we show you how to turn AutoConnect on, and if you wish, to turn if off again.

Don’t feel guilty. AutoConnect is great – until it gets in your way.

Visio – How to Turn AutoConnect Off

If you want to turn it off:

1. Click the View
2. In the Visual Aids group, select or clear the AutoConnect check box.

Visio – How to Turn AutoConnect On

If the AutoConnect check box is displayed, check whether it has been turned off as follows:

1. Click the FILE tab, Options, Advanced.
2. Select the Enable AutoConnect check box to turn AutoConnect
3. Deselect the Enable AutoConnect check box to turn AutoConnect
