Book Review: Montaigne’s Essays

As a teenager, I saw Montaigne as more of a friend than a writer. You could always turn to him. Unlike some other philosophers, he seems caring, warm, and understanding.

I’ve never read his Essays cover to cover, but like Whitman, tend to dip in every now and then for a pick-me-up.
